NU golf takes second in own tourney, one of few 18-hole contests for girls
September 7, 2010Nevada Union High School golf player Megan Arnett tees off on Hole No. 10 Tuesday afternoon at Alta Sierra Country Club. The Miners hosted the Nevada Union Invitational with 14 schools and finished second in the tourney.

September 7, 2010UC Riverside's Chad Hall set a meet record in winning the Nevada Twilight Classic on Friday evening at the Shadow Mountain Park Course in Sparks, Nev. Hall, a junior, completed the 6-kilometer course in 19 minutes, 49 seconds, a personal best for the Big Bear High graduate and 15 seconds faster than the next competitor.
